Autumn Walk Inspiration
Reflections
Yesterday I put out all my reels of blue and green silks ready to wind a warp for two scarves. Then, because it was such a beautiful Autumn day, I went for a walk around a nearby lake. The trees were so pretty and the clouds reflected in the still water of the lake. So I just had to take a photo over the water.
When I got home I was amazed to see how similar the colours of the silk were to those in the photo.
The warp is now on the loom and the scarves will be woven this week. I’ll try and remember to post more photos but can’t promise anything. I might have to go for another inspirational autumn walk.
