Jean Halford-Thompson designs and creates these wearable works of art at her studio in France. She lives in a 14th century moated manor house in Anjou, France. Her inspiration for many of her designs comes from nature and her beautiful countryside surroundings.

As a handweaver of luxury silk scarves and shawls I recommend that you follow these simple instructions to help keep your luxury items in beautiful condition.

• Soak in hand hot water
• Rinse in hand hot water
• Roll in a towel to absorb excess water
• Iron when damp to remove creases
• Hang up to finish drying naturally
• Iron again when dry to soften fabric and bring out the sheen
• Do not machine wash
• Do not tumble dry

Note: Some excess dye may rinse out on dark/strong/blue/red colours. This will not affect the colour of the item, but we would advise you to wash the items separately to avoid the dye possibly affecting other garments.

Well, there are any number of ways. During the winter months just wrap it around your neck. In the car I put it over my knees as a blanket.
