I’m so please with the way these have turned out.
I love using up ends of colours and often do so with a Jigsaw design silk scarf.
Weaving curves with the ondulé or fan reed. I don’t use it very often as it is hard on my back.
These silk glasses cases have been very popular over the years and make wonderful gifts for family and friends
This video is an attempt to show you the irridescence in each of the scarves. (I say scarves, but they are 43cms wide and could also be worn as a shawl).

These glasses cases really are one of a kind, made from any leftover samples or warp. They are nearly all made from 100% pure silk. The original design is by MOMENTS by Liz and I love the funkiness of it. Just imagine having this in your handbag to protect your reading or sun glasses.
Who knows how it will turn out, but I thought I’d give you an idea of the start and end points of one of my design. This process took place over three days. I started with an idea, changed the colours, changed the design, took time to think and reflect then finally..
