Life Before Weaving
People often ask what life was like before weaving, and what we did before moving to France over thirty years ago. Most assume it was our dream to live here, a professional move, or because of family connections. But it was none of the above.
In 1990, we (me, Max and our 2 young children) left England on a 12 metre sailing boat for a 6 month trip. However, we just carried on sailing for 3 1/2 years and eventially “ended up” in France.
During lockdown I created a short presentation of our life afloat and thought you might like to view it.
So, as you will see, it had absolutely nothing to do with weaving.
