Eva : handwoven wool/silk scarf

La chaîne de cette magnifique écharpe tissée à la main est 100 % soie et la trame peinte à la main est un mélange 50/50 de laine et de soie. Incroyablement douce, elle apporte une touche de chaleur supplémentaire grâce à la laine.

La trame est peinte de telle manière que le magenta se transforme très progressivement en orange ocre, puis en jaune pâle, ce qui est visible sur toute la longueur de l'écharpe. Mais lorsqu'elle est portée comme une écharpe , elle offre un magnifique mélange de couleurs.

The warp of this beautiful handwoven scarf is 100% silk and the handpainted weft is a 50/50 mix of wool & silk. Incredibly soft and just a touch of added warmth with the wool.

The weft is painted in such a way that the magenta changes very gradually through to an ochre orange and then pale yellow and this can be seen along the length of the scarf. But when it is worn as a scarf it is a beautiful mix of colours.
